Yoga and ayurveda for everybody

Yoga

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit root Yui, which means to join, integrate and unite. Yogis believe that each individual soul is part of the whole universe and that each individual’s purpose in life is to experience oneness with the universe.

On a more practical level, Yoga is a means of balancing and harmonising the body, mind and soul. Finding a balance within oneself and a unity with the universe.

Regular yoga practise has changed my life for good and it’s with great joy and pleasure that I would like to share with you the many benefits of its practise, physically and mentally.

Practising yoga is the best gift you can offer yourself to support you “surfing” the waves of life. Life can be tough, sometimes, and yoga is not about magic/immediate solutions and being happy all the time. But yoga’s regular practice can really help and sustain you to live your life fully, with its good and less good experiences.

You can practice yoga from birth to your last breath. I teach to children and adults: Hatha, restorative, prenatal, postnatal yoga and yoga Nidra. Group and private sessions.

Ayurveda

The word Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word meaning “science of life”.

Ayu means ”life” and Veda means “knowing”. It is a natural complement of yoga. Ayurveda focuses on the body to maintain it in good condition as well as healing it. Yoga focuses on the mind and spirit to experience oneness with the universe. They are inseparable, like one’s body and mind.
